almost everyone who posted a response so far does not seem to know what they are talking. I suppose he would use for shows, right? not just around the barn? which are obviously show boots. , with ties, (which is not unusual, but someone said it was) by what are called boots, boots without laces are called dress boots. hiking boots are more common for hunting, show jumping and cross country (and the hunt seat on the floor), while boots Dress is mostly used for dressage (but also safety catch on the floor). If you prefer hiking boots or dress boots its up to you. but I would not put the boots around the barn every day things are too good:) I'm not completely familiar with that exact pair, but Devon-Aire is usually a very good brand, and judging for the price it is a good pair of quality boots. read the comments on the website as they are often very useful, and if the tests are bad do not get trick of all Anyway, I made that mistake before;) in my opinion, the boots look lovely. look around other sites at lower prices if you will, in the same pair. i hope this helped!
