How is the fishing rod on Harvest Moon DS?
Not sure if this is a glitch in my game or I'm doing wrong but I think can not take anything with my fishing pole. Cork sits there and nothing happens, am I supposed to use my touch gloves?
Watch your character closely. When an exclamation point [!] Appears over your head, press X to try searching for fishing. Sometimes it takes hours to get to the point of appearing, but luckily it have to actually catch something at the bar, just use it. Most fish caught must be through the harvest sprites. You can get the sprite fishing for the first time by casting in the spring in its operation. (And the next couple of cast iron in hot springs when it opens.) Sprites also catching fish account for the huge amount of fish you must take to unlock more fishing sprites. As long as you take the meet after the prerequisite unlock the sprite.
