higher watt bulb in a flashlight Coleman?
Coleman 8D Square Pack-away-lantern I bought one and rated at 390 lumens is like pretty decent turn out the light. I have a flashlight 230 of the decree and this looks like it could meet the test of 390, but … running a 15-watt spiral fluorescent bulb. What I wonder is if anyone has tried or what they think putting a higher wattage bulb in it like maybe a light bulb 20 or 25 watts? Would it be fair to reduce the hours runtime?
Does the light bulb run directly off 12V? If so, probably the only side effect is a decrease the battery. If the bulb does not run on 12 V, is likely to damage the circuit if you run over a long period of time.
