Gears on a Zebco 33, which are metal or plastic?
Need a couple of reels when I bring the kids fishing, something that could cheaply handle occasional or seven pounds 3 hybrid striper or a cat, of course I thought of Zebco 33. $ 20 each, that's all I'll pass – I've read that they now have in plastic tents … Gear can this be true? But if you have a recent model, would you be kind enough to open it and tell me the truth? – If these rumors are true, it seems that it might be best time to buy equipment from eBay or what the best alternative – the opinions Thanks!?
Go ** amn, I'm glad my father loves me and I do not buy T * SH reels when I was younger. Yes, indeed. I regret to say that is very true. A lot of reels Pflueger Zebco and sold in most stores that carry a certain amount of fishing gear have plastic gears. Wal-Mart, K-Mart, Target, etc etc on sale for the reels. Will it really be better to go online or swapmeets / garage sales and find a pair of old vintage Zebco Thirty-Three with brass or aluminum transmission (or whatever material they used to do) or some higher Garcia and Daiwa reels button. However, they are not going to be no twenty-dollar price, either … I started using an old Zebco Thirty-Three in a bar five feet six Lamiglass pistol grip, but that was more than twenty years ago, when even the cheap reels seized good quality components. Lucky me. Sorry for parents and kids who have to deal with all these very, very cheap and low quality products today.
